Keynote presentations at the Taiwan Association for Animation, Comics and Games, Annual Conference 2024

Two weeks ago on Saturday we had the honor of holding the opening and closing keynote presentations at the Taiwan Association for Animation, Comics and Games, Annual Conference 2024 at the National Chengchi University in Taipei.

The opening keynote presentation was held by Martin Roth with the title “Video Game Culture Behind the Canon: The Possibilities and Limitations of Metadata Analytics“, and the closing keynote “Knowledge graphs and artificial intelligence in manga and anime research: Exploring the future of research with the Japanese Visual Media Graph project” (see slides below) was presented by Zoltan Kacsuk.

We would like to sincerely thank all the organizers for their kind invitation and help with the presentations and travel arrangements, especially Professor I-Yun Lee, Professor Ming Hung Alex Tu, Yu-Syuan Liu and Victor Huang. We look forward to continuing the many discussions that were started at the conference at potential future events.
